Position Overview:
The Labeling Technician is responsible for the accurate application of labels on food products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company specifications. This role is critical in maintaining product integrity and providing essential information to consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

Label Application:
Operate labeling machines to apply labels accurately and efficiently to food products.
Ensure that labels are correctly placed and securely attached.
Quality Control:
Inspect labeled products for accuracy, ensuring compliance with labeling regulations (e.g., nutritional information, allergen warnings).
Conduct regular checks to maintain quality standards and report any discrepancies.
Machine Operation and Maintenance:
Set up and adjust labeling machinery according to product specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on labeling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of labeling activities, including batch numbers and label specifications.
Document any issues or changes in labeling processes for review.
Collaboration:
Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to coordinate labeling schedules and address any issues.
Participate in training and safety meetings to stay informed about best practices and company policies.
Compliance:
Follow all food safety regulations and company policies regarding labeling and product handling.
Stay updated on changes in labeling laws and industry standards.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in a labeling or production role, particularly in the food industry, is a plus.

Skills:
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic mechanical skills and ability to operate machinery.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Working Conditions:
Work in a manufacturing or production environment, which may include exposure to noise, temperature variations, and food products.
May require standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
