Position Overview:
The Machine Operator in the food technology sector is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery used in the production and packaging of food products. This role ensures that all equipment functions properly and that products meet quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation:
Set up, operate, and monitor food processing and packaging machinery.
Adjust machine settings according to production specifications and requirements.
Quality Control:
Inspect products during and after processing to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Conduct regular checks on machine performance and product output.
Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime.
Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the maintenance team.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of production data, machine settings, and maintenance activities.
Complete daily production reports as required.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and food safety regulations during operation.
Ensure the work area is clean and organized, following sanitation guidelines.
Collaboration:
Work closely with production supervisors and other team members to meet production goals.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and safety practices.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machine operation or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience as a machine operator, particularly in the food industry, is a plus.
Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions precisely.
Working Conditions:
Work in a manufacturing or production environment, which may include exposure to noise, temperature variations, and food products.
May require standing for long periods and lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
