Position Overview: Warehouse Staff in the food technology sector are responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of food products. This role ensures that all operations comply with food safety standards and regulations while maintaining an organized and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Receiving and Inspection:
Receive incoming shipments of food products and inspect for quality and compliance with specifications.
Document and report any discrepancies or damages to management.
Storage and Organization:
Properly store food products in designated areas, following FIFO (First In, First Out) principles to minimize spoilage.
Maintain an organized warehouse layout to ensure easy access to products and efficient inventory management.
Inventory Management:
Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with maintaining accurate stock levels.
Update inventory management systems to reflect changes in stock status.
Order Fulfillment:
Pick and pack food products for outgoing orders accurately and efficiently.
Ensure that orders are prepared according to company standards and customer requirements.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and food safety regulations, including proper handling and storage practices.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment to prevent contamination.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as required.
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safe operation.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other warehouse staff, management, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Assist in training new staff on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or food handling environment is a plus.

Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.

Working Conditions:
Work in a warehouse environment, which may involve exposure to temperature variations and food products.
May require lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
Shift work may be necessary, including evenings and weekends.
